The People Behind the Reviews: Meet Team Biker Torque

What started as a YouTube channel grew into something bigger. We have recently  launched our online store to share the gear they actually use and believe in.

Ross: I have been riding for over 30 years and a garage that tells the story. My daily ride? Royal Enfield Meteor 350, practical, reliable, perfect for Sydney traffic. But my heart belongs to my 1984 BMW R65, that has been in my family for 40 years.

My garage also houses a BMW R18 First Edition which is comically wonderful, a 1949 Stroud Panther, and a 1972 Laverda SF750.

Tegan: I have a Yamaha MT-07 which is honestly perfect for my daily 30-minute commute. Light, nimble, reliable, exactly what want navigating Sydney traffic twice a day.

Most Fun Bike This Year

Ross: Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono, the bike makes no sense but dam it's fun

Tegan: BMW R12S.  It's just all class

One place you'd love to ride:

Ross: I've driven around New Zealand, but definitely need to get back over there on a bike.  Maybe something like a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 or a Bear 650 so I can exploring.

Tegan: Sorry to be boring, but it's New Zealand for me also.  I don't care what bike I ride over there as long as it has heated grips and a heated seat.

We're suckers for a good story – that's what launched the YouTube channel. Rider stories are our favourite content to produce, hands down. It's the people we meet in the motorcycling world that makes producing content so rewarding. Every rider has a tale worth telling, and we love being the ones to share it.
