Have BMW done enough with the R1250RS to compete with the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT or Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX and probably more importantly have they done enough to hold off Motoguzzi’s leap into the modern era with the V100 Mandello?
BMW have a track record in shaking up the industry just when you least expect it. Think of the first GS which made adventure touring an actual thing. Before that they basically invented sports touring with the R90S. So as far as sports tourers go, BMW have some serious pedigree.
The BMW R1250RS is a bike that combines sporty performance with touring capabilities, offering us as riders the best of both worlds.
It doesn’t receive as much attention or recognition as some other models in the BMW R series lineup, such as the popular R1250GS and R1250RT, but it still has its dedicated fan base and is a really attractive option for riders seeking a balance between sportiness and comfort and who will never, well at least intentionally take it off road or on gravel.
